Vertical Maxillary Excess Surgery

Hi,

I think that I have too much of a gummy smile and it drives me crazy. I am considering surgery, but am a little scared about the severity of the procedure, recovery time, and cost. Is that my only and best option? I don't think crown lengthening is an option bc I don't think I have excess gingival tissue, I think it's more of an overgrown maxillary. Any thoughts and opinions.
