Took it on the 10th. My 3rd and last time. Its a major improvement. Its belated b/c I immediately went on a drinking spree/roadtrip. First day, that I'm slightly sober. Gonna need a new liver real soon. Anyone know if
I'm eligible for that new liver list?

I took a train to the prometric center all nervous. At the center looked in the mirror and yelled " Reading carefully I will murder the DAT!" several times to put me in the zone. I was also filled with coffee beans, energy drinks, and activated charcoal (to make sure stomach doesnt bother b/c of the acidity of all those coffee drinks).

Here we go:

PAT 26 (99.8)
QR 18 (73.3)
RC 20 (66.2)
BIO 22 (95.2)
CHE 22 (88.7)
ORG 23 (92.9)
TS 22 (95.3)
AA 21 (91.0)

PAT
Honestly, Im just genetically gifted for this and other then the topscore and achiever I didnt study this at all. I go by straight intuition (if that means anything) and I finish this always with at least 15min remaining except on achiever exams. On real exam I had at least 17min remaining and went back straight to cube counting to make sure I got every single one right and then just skimmed the rest over.

QR
Really, I am VERY good at math. It is my strongest subject. Apparently not here. By the time you are doing this section, you want to go to sleep from fatigue or just shoot yourself in the head. I really felt the fatigue because I was coming off of my cofffee beans and arizona energy shot caffiene rush. I lazily skimmed thru every questions and did the non-reading involved problems and tried to muster up some strength for the rest. I didnt study for this section either but you have to understand I have an economics background very involved in math -linear and matrix algebra, multivariate calculus and econometrics (if you thought orgo was hard, you should see this subject, b/c it will leave you bleeding from all orfices). If I had energy for it, I could have spit on the screen and the right answer would just appear.

RC
Vision, crocs, fungi. The vision one was a peice of ****! What the hell is up with these androids that make these exams. Croc was a difficult one but I like crocs b/c they r kewl and it I was ok with it. Fungi was awesome well b/c fungi make booze and I like anyone who makes booze. This RC was wayyyyyyyyy easier then what I had before (FRAP test with the ethics passage (which would have left everyone for dead). Vision n croc r like tone/detail 4/6 and fungi was like 2/8. Studied for this section 1st 2 times i took it and both times got 16. This time i said studying this was a waste of time, so didnt do ****, and it REALLY paid off.

BIO
-used campbells, wiki, cliffs (good), kaplan (waste of time), destroyer (good)
Wierd questions yes but not neccessaily crazy hard. A good 25 giveaways. 10 thought provokers, 5 WTFs (stupid pix, unclear questions, etc). Doesnt go into too much detail so dont get your panties in a bunch about ridiculous detail. Know those chapters that biomajordent (dont really exact name) mentioned in the campbells book.

CHEM
-my notes, wiki, destroyer
I really dont know wat i cud have gotten rong because i went thru this in like 15min at most because it was soooooooooooooooo easy, which i didnt expect. They actually made me do almost no writting on my lamented sheet which I would abuse at home wen practicing.

ORGO
my notes, wiki, destroyer
Pretty doable but here and there is a stupid curve ball. Like they wud put 3 stupid easy question and then a question that looks stupid easy but there is a trick that people who are in a hurry would not c, if you noe what i mean.

I noe my scores are not exactly the standard that i have been seeing on this website which is like 22-24s, but i'm alright with it and i hope this cycle i will get excepted. GPA 3.5 sGPA 3.1. Have been working as a DA for 900hrs at least and been with every specialty, and I noe everything from the operatory, the xray room, the lab, to the business aspect.

What I want to know is:
1. Does the fact that it is my 3rd time hurt my app in anyway?
2. Does my TS score of 22 help make my 3.1 sGPA better in the eyes of the committees?
3. I applied before I took my DAT on 6/10, to be early, so I am done with everything including all the secondaries except one. What should I be doing now to improve my chances?

To all of you SDNers, thanks a ****load! I learned a lot from many of you and good to you peepz!

very solid scores
congrats and best of luck

your AA is pretty high, your gpa on the low side but hopefully adcoms will see a balance.

I think we might have had the same test version 🙂 Solid scores!

thnks we prob did. i c you have similar score to mine except you sexually molested the QR and obviously pulled off a higher AA then mine. cheerios!

btw did you or the fellow with the comment above u, get any interviews yet?

How did you hold on to your liquids with all those cafeine??? or did you have a secret strategy

awesome scores...no worry you 'll be fine

i got one question that do you mean by FRAP? as in "FRAP test with the ethics passage"
is it a new set of passage in RC?

I've read that if you have that test, you have a bio question on FRAP and a really really hard ethics passage? I didn't know the passage was actually on FRAP?😕
