VERY important question: How do you prounounce MCAT? M-CAT or M-C-A-T?

I've never talked about this test with people in real life even though I just finished all the pre-med requirements. I guess I did a good job of staying away from pre-meds in real life. Anyways, I was watching the parody video of the medical school interview with those robotic-like digital characters and noticed that the doctor character pronounced it EM-SEE-A-TEE. I've always pronounced it EM-CAT. How does pre-allo pronounce it?

It's very easy to program it with either pronunciation. I thought some people pronounced it differently, or maybe the med student/pre-med who made it was just lazy and didn't edit it.

last year there was a big drug called 'meow meow' or 'plant food' then everyone started calling it MCAT, so I would just avoid bringing it up since it sounded like I was talking about a party drug

For 1, I use to post on BB sporadically several years ago. For 2, I don't think that I spend 12+ hours masturbating per week. I'd imagine I'd be sore all the time.

See I know its M-S-A-R, and I've never used it in conversation I don't think, but in my head I think M-S-R just slurring the A and R sounds together lol

I do that too. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the brain reading "ar" together because "r" begins with an "a" sound. Know what I mean? My psych degree comes becomes pretty handy every now n then. 😎🙂rolleyes🙂
