Little background: I go to university of michigan ann arbor, I have a 3.58 sci gpa, and I double major in biology and psychology.

Study time around 5 months. 3 phases: (1) content review (2) DAT destroyer + DAT ochem odyssey (3) learn PAT, math, reading comp, science review and do DAT bootcamp prac exams

CONTENT REVIEW( PHASE1):
Bio - The only 2 materials you should be using to learn material is @FeralisExtremum notes and campbell biology textbook. Feralis's notes are fantastic and contain basically all the information you know. I memorized everything on his notes (legit everything). Any concepts that you don't understand in feralis's notes, go to campbell's book to clear up issues. I never took an anatomy class before so I outlined all of campbell's physiology chapters and then integrated feralis's notes.

Gen chem - I did NOT use chad's videos. I actually used my notes from my college gen chem class and memorized everything.

Orgo - So I got a B in orgo 1 and a C+ in orgo 2 so I knew I had to go hard here. Rather than using chad's videos I actually re-learned the entire course. University of california irvine has their entire organic chemistry lecture on youtube for free (UCI open courseware). They also post the textbook and homework problems that go with each lecture. So i watched 3 lectures a day and then did enough of the homework problems until I was comfortable. Prof nowick and prof van vranken were great and re-taught me everything.

DAT destroyer/DAT organic chem odyseey (PHASE 2):
Highly suggest you buy DAT destroyer AND the less thought of DAT organic chem odyssey. @orgoman22 is a legend and both books are very necessary.

Bio - Got 78.5% correct going through the first time destroyer. After I finished all the questions, I went over all the questions i got wrong/the questions I guessed on and got right and learned that material.

Gen chem - Got 80% right going through the first time of destroyer. After I finished all the questions, I went over all the questions i got wrong/the questions I guessed on and got right and learned that material.

Orgo - GO THROUGH OCHEM ODYSSEY FIRST. FANTASTIC BOOK. Got around 75% right throughout the whole book. After I finished all the questions, I went over all the questions i got wrong/the questions I guessed on and got right and learned that material. THEN go through the ochem section on DAT destroyer. Got around 75% right again going through first time. After I finished all the questions, I went over all the questions i got wrong/the questions I guessed on and got right and learned that material. MEMORIZE ALL THE TESTS (**************TOLLENS TEST******************) AND MEMORIZE HIS ROADMAP VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT.

PAT/Math/RC/Bootcamp/Science review (PHASE 3):
How to learn pat (materials needed is DAT bootcamp and crack the dat pat):
(1) use bootcamp generators to practice each section and watch youtube videos for tips on each section
(2) take crack the dat PAT exams. In general the Crack the dat PAT exams is about the same difficulty as the real DAT PAT.
(3) once you take a few crack dat PAT exams, then start taking DAT BOOTCAMP PAT exams. DAT bootcamp pat exams are harder than the real thing no doubt.

How to learn math:
(1) Watch all of chad's QR videos (THEY ARE AMAZING)
(2) buy MATH DESTROYER AND DO PRACTICE EXAMS TIMED (math destroyer is way harder than real DAT but you need to work on timing. I was averaging around 32/40 TIMED). Then go over the problems you missed.

RC:
Crack the DAT reading comp is LEGIT FIRE. Use this! I was averaging 19, 19, 21, 20 on the 4 RC sections i did. I found the real DAT way easier. I basically used the kaplan's mapping method but for each paragraph, I would write down as many key words as possible per paragraph and then go through questions.

Bootcamp:
I took all the practice sections back to back except reading comp (I would do a crack the DAT RC section instead). Wow they are great exams. Very similar to the real thing. Try to go through these exams as fast as possible and who cares if you make careless mistakes. Averages:

Bio - 24
GC - 24
Orgo - 22 (mad careless mistakes)
Math - 24
PAT - 19.75

The real exam:
Bio (30) - This section was tough. There were around 32 easy questions and 8 hard questions. Of the 8 hard questions, there was only 1-2 hard "fact" questions and the rest were "application" questions. Thanks, to feralis, I knew everything that was being asked so I was able to solve the application questions.

GC (23) - This was so easy I must have made stupid mistakes. BIG SHOUTOUT TO @Ari Rezaei THANK YOU FOR MENISCUS QUESTIONS.

Orgo (29) - This was so easy and i completely dedicate this to @orgoman22. There were 2 questions that I only saw in DAT destroyer/ochem odyssey and when I saw them im thinking to myself "thank you dr. romano!!!!"

PAT (21) - Keyholes were 50% bootcamp difficulty and 50% mad easy crack dat pat keyholes. Keyholes were definitely the hardest. TFE was basically all around the same difficulty of crack dat pat except for 3-4 questions that were bootcamp difficulty. Angles were way easier than bootcamp and crack dat pat. Hole punching was easier than both bootcamp and crack the dat pat. Cube counting was easier than both, but the dat tried to trick you by putting a hole in the middle of the object so just watch out for those stuff. Pattern folding was basically at the same difficulty of crack dat pat.

RC (24) - Way easier than crack dat pat. All fact questions basically.

Math (24) - way easier than bootcamp and math destroyer. Honestly no idea where i went wrong must have made dumb mistakes

Nice scores!!

From another thread:
"Ive been learning my trig values.... then I saw on the DAT info page that trig and geometry as going to be taken off so more emphasis would be placed on stats and probability"

Did you happen to have a few trig questions on your exam?

Thanks for the kind words, I am glad you enjoyed our books and found them helpful in achieving your goal. I knew you were a smart guy by the questions you posted on SDN!

Wishing you the best!
