Veterinary Experience on VMCAS

A quick question. I'm filling out the "veterinary experience" portion of the VMCAS and I am a little confused. I have a lot of lab experience, but it is not necessarily vet related. However, in the instructions it says to include any "research" with a "professional". Would managing a genetics lab then be "veterinary experience"? Or should that just go in "Employment". Gah!
