Veterinary mentors

Hey everyone,

I'm working on a project that involves veterinary mentors. Although I'm quite familiar with the clinicians at my school, I'm interested in learning more about the mentors from other schools. These can be people who are very accomplished in their specialties, or even those that have other qualities that make them a great mentor, but that they aren't necessarily recognized for.

Please private message me with your nominations (as many as you want), and a short blurb about why they are such a great mentor.

Also, are their any specialties of veterinary medicine that you wish you would have had access to a mentor in that field for?

Would you tell us what you think makes a mentor, because I think the word is tossed around too easily and is used far more frequently than is warranted.

And, what kind of project is this? To what end are you collecting these names?
