Hello all

I am staying here on dependent visa h4. I dont have Socail Security Number as I am on H4.

Navle and ECVG application forms requires Social Security Number in them.
SSN is mandatory for writing NAVLE Exam?

I am looking for some guidance on this.

Hi...I don't know if thats the case and a SSN is required...but if its not then--
do you have a TIN #? Use that in place of you SSN till you get a SSN.

Thats what I first used for tests, college, bank, credit cards etc...

I dont have TIN #.
But how to get TIN# ? Do you have any idea? I searched to get the information , but I failed.

TIN # is tax identification number. May be you can search with this information. I don't know how to get it, but I do know that it is easy to get if you or your spouse paid taxes. Generally when you do taxes, they ask for TIN #. Sorry! I don't have more information.

You have to go to your local Social Security office and apply for it. They then assign you the taxpayer identification number....I didn't work when i got it...so i actually didn't use it for tax purposes....
