Has anyone on here done the "Vets Go Wild" trip to South Africa run by Worldwide Experience? (See: http://www.worldwideexperience.com/vetsgowild/)
If you have been on this trip or have participated in other trips run by this company, I'd love to hear about your experience and would greatly appreciate it if you could PM me. Thank you.

I want to hear about your experiences too!! I want to work on animals in South Africa too and I was planning on doing some of the EMS for Glasgow with wildlifevets.com, but the one you posted looks great too!!

There's a group on Facebook called "Wildlife Vet Student and Vets who like to travel!"...it has quite a few comments about peoples experiences with companies like the ones above....worthwhile read.

PJ, I have some websites and info on several organizations for South African Volunteering (I ended up choosing 2). I decided to volunteer last summer in SA; one month with orphaned baboons and 2 weeks observing/recording african animals for a private reserve. While these expereinces are not "vet" experience, they do give you exposure and experiences with exotic animals that aren't the norm! If you or anyone else is interested, feel free to PM me. 🙂
