1. Now that a lot of conferences have been virtual, do virtual posters still hold as much weight as in-person posters have held in the past?
2. If I submit work to a in-person conference and it's accepted as a digital poster, is it still worth it to attend the conference in person?

Trying to figure out how to allocate my time/resources in this new COVID world. Thanks.

1) Since there is no alternative, probably. Keeping in mind that they have always had a relatively small amount of weight compared to actual manuscripts and oral presentations.
2) Depends on what you are going for. If you're going to learn, then sure. If you're going because you're hoping to network then you have to look at the agenda, gauge your ability to realistically make connections, and make a value judgement.
