Virtual Dental Shadowing Hours

I did some virtual shadowing during COVID with those programs like Dental Shadowers. Besides that I have around 160 hours of shadowing in person. I'm wondering if it's worth putting the virtual shadowing or not? It equates to about 6 hours of shadowing.

I wouldn't bother. 6 hours will not make a difference in your application. Trying to explain virtual shadowing in your situation is more hassle than it's worth.

I agree. Your 160 in-person hours is enough to formally mention in your application. Perhaps the virtual experience let you actually see inside the patient's mouth and some case discussion, but I typically ignore anything that has fewer than 50 hours attributed to it. Don't waste the slot.
