Hey guys,
So I have always been a really visual learner. I did not have a very strong biology background when I started studying for the DAT so a lot of the material in the books did not stick with me after a day or so. I came across these bio videos.. I never took anatomy in undergrad since I was a biochem major it wasn't a requirement. Anyway here's the link:

He can be a little annoying I'm sure for some people.. I actually thought he was kinda funny and laughed out loud in the library a couple times because he is pretty corny, with that said anything that could make me laugh during all this studying was a definite plus. I take my DAT June 23rd and his videos with all the bodily functions really did help me tremendously. I would take notes and flip back and fourth through Feralis bio notes to make sure he covered everything in each section. (some topics in the videos aren't completely covered like they are in Feralis so I also used khan academy videos which are a little too much in depth for some topics.) Once I felt like I understood the topic I would go back and read through cliffs AP bio which finally made much more sense!! I wish you could all have been around for that milestone it was a very exciting time. haha
Again, he can be a bit annoying for some people.. But if you are a visual learner and do not have a strong background in anatomy I would absolutely suggest giving these videos a chance. He really breaks it down and makes it super easy to understand!! I took tons of notes, (understatement.), had Feralis bio notes opened in a separate tab so after I was done I made sure I didn't miss anything. (and Feralis if you are reading this you are a GOD SEND seriously you are awesome I hope you get into the number 1 dental school of you're choice because you deserve it.)
Sorry this is so long! But I come to this forum all the time when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed by this whole process and everyone that has posted has helped me so much! So I just wanted to post the link to the videos for anyone who is a very visual learner like I am. After watching Chad's videos (pretty sad he's married...) I didn't even want to go back to reading!! Hope this is helpful to at least one person out there having trouble memorizing, understanding the different systems, or just tired of reading and not retaining!
