So, I REALLY close to being able to submit my app. but have a few questions. I emailed VMCAS on the 9/11 and 9/13 with 2 different questions, no reply yet. I can totally understand since they are probably swamped. Hopefully one of you may have an idea of what I should do.

I was in the military for 10 years doing non-animal related work. Do I check the box "does not apply"? I'm just not sure how to account for this time on the application.

Also, I plan to take my last prerequisite in the spring of 2010 at a University I have not previously attended and am not currently enrolled in. How do I enter this if I do not know the course prefix and number?

Thanks so much for all your great help!!

You were paid while in the military, right? If so, you could probably put it under the "employment" section, since everything in that heading should be non-animal related.

Check the school website - many of them have online course catalogues. If that fails, you can always give the registrar's office a call and they can give you the course numbers.

Best of luck! 🙂

I would definitely just give VMCAS a call. I think I have called about 8 times so far and everyone has been very helpful and I have never had to be placed on hold. The number is 877-862-2740 and then hit 2 for the student/advisor hotline.
