What is everyone's opinion on voiding their score? Also, has anyone here ever voided before?

i don't think we can void our DAT scores. for MCATs you can b/c you don't get the test result right away. for DAT, it's all multiple choice so once we enter the testing center, there's no way turning back.

We can void our scores. After the exam, they ask you if you want to void your test score, but if you do you dont get to see what you got. Thats what my Kaplan teacher told me anyway.

Why would you void your score? Unless you were extremely ill during the test, there is no point. You get no feedback of your performance and no way to know if you "actually" did well in certain section and where improvements are needed. What you get from voiding is a temporary relief and another 3 months of 5-7 hours a day with no life.....and possible lower score from burning out. When you chicken out 1st time, 2nd time is more likely.

I could of sworn that you cannot void your score. I wanted to void mine, but I could not find anything at all during my exam/end of exam.

nooo.. that's not true. there is no option of voiding score. you get to see your score on your computer screen as soon as your test is done (after a short survey -- asking how you prepared, how satisfied you are with the testing center, etc. I don't recall seeing any "do you want to void"). your unofficial report containing your standard score along with the percentile will be printed out for you as a hard copy when you exit the testing center -- after you turn in the locker key and stuff.

I know that some of my friends who took the MCAT voided the score, but I don't think it's an option for DAT takers. I'm pretty sure.
