Does it put me at a disadvantage to not fill out this "voluntary" part? ie VI-XI.

hmm, i dont remember a voluntary section...can you explain in further detail?

nevermind, i see it now. I didn't even see the word "OPTIONAL" when I was completing that app, and I just filled it all in. Why not fill it out if you can?

I didn't fill it out...I felt kinda guilty about not filling it out but if anything my info for those questions would have hurt me...

I think the purpose was to determine if you came from an underserved or underprivileged background...
