Hi.

I have a few questions regarding volunteer service. Hopefully someone could answer them.

1. For the volunteer service section, do we have to remember the dates that we volunteered and where?

2. Do we include the hours of volunteering starting from high school or is the hours starting from college?

3. How would the dental committee be sure that the numbers of hours we're reporting are accurate? I haven't really been keeping track of the number of hours I've volunteered =/.

4. Approximately how many hours of service would be considered adequate? Just an estimate would be nice.

1) Yes

2) Don't take high school into consideration, but you can put if you like

3) They won't. Some schools require forms be filled out by the head of the service committees you worked with, others don't require anything. Choosing to be dishonest is a poor path to take. Have confidence in your application and be honest.
