For medical schools apps I know volunteer work should be listed. But I was wondering if only medical related volunteer work should be listed. Is other work okay to list, ex: church things, habitat for humanity, or any bio club volunteering. Or are only medical related things worth listing like hospital or nursing home. And would the answer to this question be the same for D.O. And M.D. schools alike? Help would be appreciated I will also have clinical because I just got a job as a scribe. Thanks

Yes definitely include non-medical activities/ volunteer work. It shows you have interests and passions outside of med, which is nice. Good luck!

Definitely list other altruistic activities. The AMCAS application has separate tags to choose between that identify the appropriate category:
Community Service/Volunteer - Medical/Clinical
Community Service/Volunteer - Non Medical/Clinical
