Volunteered at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in NYC?

My summer schedule is mostly set but I'm thinking of volunteering at a hospital starting late summer-fall.
What hospitals in NYC have you volunteered at and what did you think of the experience?
Also, has anyone volunteered at St.Luke's--Roosevelt Hospital? It is a good hospital to volunteer at?

they usually accept non-columbia students over the summer ...more of a shadowing/research experience than a volunteer experience though
