Volunteering abroad for a month. How to put this on AADSAS

Hello!

So I’ll be going abroad for the entire month of July to volunteer abroad. I want to put this on AADSAS app asap, but should I wait until I’m done with volunteering? Or can I just put it on the app the day I start volunteering? But if I put it on the day I start, I wouldn’t be able to pick the End Date. Should I just explain it in the description and put the hours I will have by the end in the Total Hours box?

Hi! Personally, l think it would be best to update your app halfway through volunteering or at the end of the experience. You will be able to describe your experience and responsibilities much better. I also feel that you should only put in hours for things you have already accomplished. You are not supposed to post hours that you have not yet completed. I hope this helps, have fun abroad! 🙂
