No question: The In-N-Out with the optional fry fellowship

WOOT! I'm first

Dr. McFattypants

St.Luke's Roosevelt, but only because its my stomping grounds.

And only because the ol in-n-out gave me a smack down on an interview and I am still incredibly bitter.

I love this, just wait everyone is going to be pissed because "there's no such thing as a best program" blah, blah, blah. My vote's for Cincy

Hey

Where's In N Out Burger

Fatty McFattypants!

I need more votes to complete my rank list! The best residency will be the best fit for me!

What a great thread!

boy, you sure left out a lot of good programs... Goldfrank would be disappointed.

It's all about the Bojangles

I know Sweet Tea is with me on this one 😉

shooot.. is this even a question. SAEM has us ranked #2 but everyone knows we are #1... Of course I can accept an argument on In N out.. that place is so exclusive you have to know someone just to apply.... it is the EM equivalent of the AMEX black card..

Please...that program's so over-rated. They offered me a spot outside the match...and I'm only an M2!

Nice to see someone finally figured out that you could vote for every program. I was going to do that with my first post but then loyalty won out and I vote for my alma mater. In the end I think this poll is going to be worth the paper its printed on.

I'll go with Taco John's. Although Jack in the Box has the best commercials of anyone.

Plus you can get tacos at Jack In the Box if I remember correctly, it is hard to recall since it was 8 yrs ago and I was drunk.

I just turned in my rank list

#1 Carls Jrs
#2 Hardees
#3 Taco Bell
#4 KFC
#5 Bks (my safety)

Wait, Carl's Jr is Hardees. Or are you considering it a satellite program. I may have to modify my ROL.

No way I'm ranking BK. That king is just too creepy to wake up to.

1. Taco John's
2. Jack in the Box (yes, you can get tacos)
3. Taco Bell
4. Backyard Burgers
5. Qdoba
6. Perkins (safety)
7. Waffle House (not very safe safety)
8. Huddle House (getting desparate here)

The gratuitous lack of In-N-Out is due to their practice of not establishing an east coast franchise.

I didn't rank Perkins cause I found a hair in my pie and waffle house give me the runs. I was really upset that I didn't get an invite to Backyard Burger. Yes, I was considering hardees a satellite since it is the east coast version of Carls, but they have the best chicken biscuit sandwich (HMMMM).

Sorry, but those things they serve at Jack In the Box are NOT tacos. They are e. coli delivery devices. :scared:

Take care,
Jeff

The list lacks Hennepin, AND lacks Steak N' Shake. Either omission would make it questionable, but missing both makes it downright suspect.

I don't have a rank list, as I am a future PA. Nyaah.

 Funny how Hennepin has 6 votes 😉

BTW...El Pollo Loco really impressed me!

Hunh. I guess there's a part of my brain that blocks out the word "Hennepin" past 6pm.

I looked again, didn't see it. Looked at the results, didn't see it, then looked for something with six votes. That's when I found it. It's like a Magic Eye thing. Cool.

I stand by the lack of Steak N' Shake, though.

Waffle House? I had no clue they were opening a residency. It will surely be a powerhouse from day 1.

What about chick-fil-a and bojangles, though?

Particularly when he's leading a weekly case conference at 06:30, followed by a block of lectures. No thank you. If I'm having it my way, then I'm still asleep that early in the day.

Which for some of us would be an achievement at this point......

You will.
I wonder how your diploma will read though, because it will only have the part of your training that you did at that institution, and leaving out the KDMC part. Will you have a different "intern" one from KD?

Speaking of which, have you moved yet? How goes it?

Hope the move to Texas goes smoothly.

Take care,
Jeff

I'm moving right after the inservice exam. The exam is at a sucky time this year, Feb 28, which means I am stuck in L.A. until then, but have to be out of my apartment by March 1st. The $2000 in moving costs doesn't help. Luckily Corpus is giving us a $1500 sign-on bonus to offset the cost to some degree.
