So my medical school just sent us an email about how we need to start planning our schedule for fourth year so when VSAS opens up, we can get our stuff submitted ASAP. I was planning on doing two audition rotations in the specialty I want to apply for residency. Is there any place I can find the average stats of accepted students at each location? I would ideally prefer to do my auditions at places where I have a shot at matching instead of doing them at some top location where I have no shot at and end up wasting a month.
Also aside from the auditions, my school has an EM elective required fourth year. Other than that, there is no other required rotation. Does this mean I can just pick whatever specialties/locations I want for the rest of the year?
Sorry for all the basic questions but my school has done barely any explaining on fourth year and VSAS and all of this
