When a school says on VSAS that they accept applications one day and process a month later does this mean I should get it in as soon as they start accepting or does it not really matter as long as it is in before they start processessing? Any idea on what these two dates actually mean?

Thanks,

PMD

Depends on whether they process applications in the order they receive them, which a lot of places do. If that's the case, you'll want to submit yours early so that you can get processed earlier and therefore have a better chance of getting the rotation that you want.

Thanks a lot for the info. Would I ever hear from a school before they start "processing" applications or is it usually pretty quiet until the date this happens?

From my personal experience it was pretty quiet, except for an acknowledgement from one program that my application was received but would not be processed until the specific date mentioned on VSAS.
