So did you lie or?
I estimated it to be 165. Looking back now I see that the credits I took approximate a different number. So I didn’t intentionally attempt to mislead anyone. That’s why I’m asking now if I should inform schools of this mistake. Does that make sense?

Nah you're fine.

Thanks. The problem is what I suspected tho, people may think I’m lying which is evident on your initial reply. Do u think I’m still fine, or should I email schools to prevent this?
I think drawing attention to it will make more work for you than leaving it alone. Drawing attention to it will put it on their radar and may look like you clearing a guilty conscience. If for some reason they question you on this, which I doubt they would (165 to 125 isnt a huge deal), there you can be candid and say yeah I may have slightly overestimated, or whatever your reasoning is.

Would that be enough to have an acceptance rescended? Because doesn’t it look like, at that point, that I got caught lying?

You pointing it out to them yourself wont afford you leniency, so why do it at all. I doubt 40 hours would rescind anything.
