  1. Pre-Dental
Thinking of dropping my advanced biochem class but I am worried about how it would look like to dental schools. It's not a prereq to the schools I chose but I'm afraid it will drop my GPA if i write the final

I legit was going to ask this question. I have a few W's on my transcript and was wondering if its calculated into the GPA at all or anything.

As far as my experience goes Ws are not calculated into GPA. I had one or two on my transcript (math classes) but it was also further back in my schooling so I was able to say I grew from the experience etc. if you're closer to applying not sure how they'd view it

W's are not counted in your GPA. Withdrawing from an advanced level biochem class might look bad but getting anything lower than a C will look worse. I've had 2 W's but they were also earlier in my college years (freshman year) so I would think they have a little bit more of an impact later in your education but it really depends on the rest of your course load.
How many credit hours are you taking this semester? And are they difficult classes?

Alongside advanced biochem, I'm also taking genetics, geography, virology and physics

If you're going to get a C or C-, then drop it. If you're going to get a B just keep trucking through it
