Hi everyone,

I've been a long time lurker and I know this question's been asked a lot but I would appreciate the help. I'm currently in a situation with an upper level Biochemistry course where I think there's a high chance that I will finish with a B+ if not a B (if I'm super lucky an A-). I'm a Canadian student in my 3rd year but I want to come to the US for dental school. My overall GPA is 3.7 and my science GPA is a ~3.6 and I will be taking the US DAT this summer. My biggest worry is that if I take the W in the course is that it will look really bad and make my case even more difficult especially being an out-of-country applicant. A B/B+ would especially tank my GPA for this year which so far is 3.94, and I feel look disappointing being so close to the final year of my degree. Any advice would be super helpful. Should I take the W or accept what is probably going to be a B/B+? Thanks again!

It would be foolish to withdrawal...

Usually you want the W over a C- and lower. I think youre fine......

Just accept the B/B+. I only withdrew when I had below a C

A B or a B+ is fine. For a Canadian applicant applying to the United States, your GPAs are good too. Just make sure you finish up your schooling on a high note and do well on the DAT.
