I know it isn't Dec 1st yet, but I just got a wait-list email from Columbia. So weird that they sent it out already, but I guess I'll just have to sit back and wait for the rest of them =/ Sort of a depressing way to start this whole thing off

You have plenty of interviews from what i remembered, I am sure you will be fine.

don't worry i had a friend on their waitlist last yr and got in pretty quickly in the spring. i heard (but am def not positive) that they go through their waitlist quickly

Nope, it was a waitlist email for sure. There is a form I need to fill out if I wish to still be considered off the wait-list. Oh well

I got this, too. But I applied really early, so I'm not sure why mine is waiting review. Perhaps re-review?

You had an interview there already?

Did you interview? Yes = they're still reviewing your app and it will still be in the pile when applications are evaluated for the next round of acceptances.
No = you're still in the running for an interview. You just haven't been selected yet. Either way, it's better than a rejection.

I got wait-listed too, but it was a straight status change on AADSAS from check back to wait listed. It's kind of weird they would split the wait-listed people up like that. Would you guys mind sharing what the email looks like?

If you're yet to receive an interview invitation, I don't think you're on the wait list yet. Those who got an wait list email yesterday were already interviewed (I think).
