Realistically if you get wait-listed for a school, what are you chances of getting accepted? How long does it typically take to hear from them if they ultimately choose you? I know there was a thread about this a week or so ago, I looked for it but couldnt find it.

I was wait-listed in March - didn't get formally accepted until they looked at my Spring grades. The letter is dated *goes to dig through files*....May 30, 2003...

So, yeah, you might have to wait a couple of months....

I am an alternate for west palm campus (nova).... any feedback appreciated

I've been accepted there and paid my deposit, but not sure I'll be going. Sorry, to be holding on to a spot when you're waiting. I've interviewed at my 2nd choice and the committee meets on the 30th. So, I should hear in the next couple of weeks. I'll try to remember to PM you if I get in somewhere else. I'm waiting on other schools, it's actually like my 3rd choice. "Green Monster" interviewed with me and has been accepted to UF, so he'll be going there. So, I definately think there is hope! And I'm sure there are more who have recently been accepted to UF and will decline Nova. Good luck!

I am wait-listed at Mercer, South, and Samford. I know the more wait-lists I'm on, the higher chance I have of getting in somewhere, but it's still annoying.
