So I understand an application won't be sent to schools without transcripts being "verified", so how long does this typically take assuming you request transcripts June 1? Also, since this may take a while, would it be smart if I'm trying to get more shadowing hours to continue doing so and wait to submit my application until AADSAS receives my transcript?

One of the biggest regrets I hear is pre dents wishing they submitted their application asap. If you can have it submitted as close to the JUne 1st open date as possible, do it. I don't think a whole few extra weeks of shadowing would make that great of a difference. Just indicate on your app that your shadowing involvement is ongoing. Good luck

Send your transcripts as soon as possible. It can take days or even over a week for your school to actually send out your transcript. Then once AADSAS receives it, it may take anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks for them to verify it. I remember those of us who sent it in early had our transcripts verified within a few days once they sent received. Afterwards, for those who were submitting in Late July/August, it took over a week to verify. You still have plenty of time to get in some shadowing hours before you submit your application, so don't worry about that.

And we can't send it in till the App opens up right? Like we cant send our transcripts in right now?

A couple extra weeks of shadowing won't really do that much.
And to the last poster: you have to wait until the application opens so you can get a transcript matching form to send in with the transcript.
