For all those admitted, were you finished with your degree? I have seen quite a few people who said that the adcoms were waiting on fall grades. I will be applying at the end of junior year and I am wondering if they will have to wait for my fall grades as I will find out a decision during the middle of my senior year.
Are they waiting for fall grades because they are prereqs?

Nooo, you don't have to graduate before you are admitted. Schools technically want fall grades from everyone they admit who is still in school. However, when you hear about schools "waiting for fall grades," it usually means that they are undecided about an applicant and want to see how they performed during fall semester before making an interview or acceptance decision. I'm putting this bluntly, but they don't usually "wait" for fall grades to make a decision for people who have had good grades throughout all of school.

Once you're accepted, you generally need to keep a C (at the MINIMUM) in all of your classes. You have to submit final transcripts before matriculating.

Oh okay thank you. I was so confused.

Wow, this is so helpful! I am beginning to believe that this may be a reason why I received a continuing review from ECU, being that Biochem is a requirement and I wont have a grade for that for another week. What do you think?

They say that before you apply you need to at least have your prereqs done. You don't need your degree though just you 90 credits worth of prereqs. I am taking all of my prereqs first to avoid confusion.

Yea...I was accepted with 13hrs of prereqs "planned".

They usually wait for fall grade for applicants who are either inconsistent trend or coming from low GPA, the latter applying myself to make the final decisions.
