I finished my primary the second week of June and had my secondaries complete at 14 schools by August. I have received 2 interviews one in September and one in October and am on the wait list at both schools.

I was wondering if I have any hope of getting interviews at any of the 12 remaining schools? I am planning to leave the country in February and March and want to know if I have a shot at getting an interview before then or around then. If so then I would postpone the trip. However if I am just waiting around I should go on the trip and book the flights as soon as possible. Any advise on the subject would be awesome.

I am an Ohio resident, 3.5gpa and 28 mcat with lots of research and good ECs. I am still waiting to hear from:

New York College of Medicine
University of Cincinnati
Ohio State University
University of Toledo
North Eastern College of Medicine
University of Louisville
Saint Louis University
Wake Forest University
Virginia Commonwealth
Jefferson University
Drexel University
Temple University

Any advise or thoughts would really help put my mind at ease Thanks.

I'm surprised you haven't heard from Toledo and Northeastern. You might look at the school specific threads in PreMed-Allo for those two and see what kind of lead time one gets when offered an interview at them. If you have a month, and some choice of date, you could perhaps accomodate an invitation without difficulty even if you're abroad.

I agree with J DUB. If you can postpone the trip, then you should. Otherwise, if you can't, I would think that you should notify the schools of your travelling plans.
