I am working on a school assignment. Could you please explain how waiting lists work in Canada for procedures such as TURP, CABG, PCTA, TKR, and diagnostic tests such as CT, MRI, and PET?

There is a tangible waiting list you go on? What determines your spot in the list? Who controls the list?
