Hey everyone--sorry for the following wall of text! So I'm using a letter packet to submit my LoRs that's compiled by my university. I have received letters from 2 science professors, 1 non-science prof, 1 research PI, and 1 physician letter from a cardiologist I scribe for. The problem is, I asked for a LoR from another physician I work for and am must closer to--I anticipate that she would write a much stronger letter than the physician whose letter I already have (although, his is still positive). I asked her for a letter in April to have by June and have consistently reminded her since then. She gave me a call last week saying she would have it in on Friday (7/13) but I checked with my pre-health office and it definitely isn't in. It takes up to 5 days for my letter packet to be transmitted to schools from when I request my pre-health office to upload it to AMCAS. She's out of the country now (just left today) and won't be back until the 23rd, which is when I work with her next. So, I'm pretty sure I won't have anything turned in until at least then. I'm not sure if I should wait on her or not. I've submitted a handful of secondaries already but know I can't be marked as complete until my LoRs are in. Sorry if I'm being way too neurotic about this. Thanks a ton!

You already have one physician letter. The second physician won't return until 7/23 and she'll have endless "stuff" to catch up on after she returns that will take priority over your concerns. Then add another five days for the upload. How long did you plan to wait? Just have your committee send the existing letter packet now.
