I was put on the waitlist for a school, and then received a call two weeks later that I had been accepted. I am also on a waitlist at two other schools, but have yet to hear anything. My advice is to email them, and ask what you can do to enhance your application and that you are really interested in their program for x,y,z, etc. This helped me, hope this helps you!
