Probably a dumb question, but when you get a letter saying you've been waitlisted, and there's a spot on the bottom of the letter for you to sign saying that you accept the waitlist offer, are you supposed to sign and send back the original letter or make a copy and sign and send that one in?
Thanks

Probably doesn't matter just as long as the signature is original (and I doubt that that would matter much either).

which school has this protocol?

i was was in the "acceptable range" for one school and on "hold" for another. the letter didn't have any signature component.

It was from Drexel. I got it a week and a half after interviewing, which was pretty surprising, since they had said 6 weeks.
