I hope everyone is having a great cycle! I have a question regarding the waitlist position requirements. In December, I submitted my deposit for a DO program and began preparing to go to this program by filling out FAFSA and submitting other required material. I recently, however, was waitlisted for an MD program that I am completely in love with. I accepted the waitlist position of course but this school has a strict policy where they will not allow students on the waitlist if they commit to enroll at another program via the AMCAS portal. However, if you stated on the AMCAS portal that you plan to commit somewhere you are still eligible to be on the waitlist. Since the AACOMAS program does not have the commit to enroll option am I still technically able to me waitlisted at this MD program? I do not want to loose either opportunity so I want to make sure that everything I am doing is within the rules of the school. Please let me know if anyone has insight on this! Thank you!
