Does anyone know how long you can hold onto a DO acceptance if you are waitlisted at your top-choice school?

Does anyone know how long you can hold onto a DO acceptance if you are waitlisted at your top-choice school?

As long as you paid the deposit for the acceptance, you can probably hold it until the very last moment before school starts.
