Hi, I have a question about how waitlists work.

Say I'm holding a spot at School X by May 15. I am waitlisted by Schools A, B, and C and am pursuing all three waitlists.

If I move off of the waitlist for School A in June, I then relinquish school X, but do I have to relinquish the other 2 schools I'm waitlisted at?

If down the line, then I'm planning on School A, but one of the other two removes me from the waitlist, can I then choose to go to those schools?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm confused about how people pursue multiple waitlists. Thanks! 🙂

Sounds like you have it right. If School A take you off their waitlist, you do have to choose between X and A, but that's it. You can still hold on to the other waitlists as well.

And yes, if down the line yet ANOTHER school takes you off the waitlist, you can still choose to go there. Lets hope that this happens to me and my three waitlists....sigh...
