So, I just received notice of a waitlist (and I don't have any acceptances yet), so I want to do what I can to help my chances at this school. I'm thinking that an update letter and a new letter of recommendation would probably be a good idea. I don't think I will send it right away, though, because I figure that they probably won't even look at my file again for months, and hopefully both my update letter and my recommendation would be stronger after more time.
Does that sound like a good idea, or should I act ASAP? Just curious about other people's impressions. Thanks.
