So I see alot of threads on here talking about being on a waitlist at schools and others talking about alternate list. Are these two the same? The reason I ask is because I had a friend who got into UOP two years ago, but he was on a waitlist/alternate list where they basically said you won't enter this year, but are in for the next year. So he had a whole year off, and is now a first year at UOP and he didn't have to reapply or anything.
Has anyone heard of this before? Or can anyone clear up the difference between alternate vs waitlist?
