Hey guys,
I was put on the waitlist at LECOM-FL, so I am going to really crack down on the MCAT. I really did like the school and faculty there though, and wondered if anybody had any suggestions as to what I should be doing.
Also, when do people usually hear back if they have been taken off the waitlist, is it after they finish interviewing everybody?

Thanks guys!

I don't think that you should give up, but you already know what the biggest problem is. Your GPA and EC's are good but your MCAT is a 21. You still might get in, but with rolling admissions it is likely that they will try to accept people with a better score first regardless of how good your other stuff is. Later in the cycle, they will probably look more closely at your ap as they try to fill the class. Right now there are still people with 3.9's and 25+ MCAT's interviewing. They won't accept you now...but they might accept you later.

If they don't, remember that your GPA and EC's are still pretty good. A better MCAT might push you over the top. Talk to the school and ASK THEM what would make you a better candidate. Don't ask the people here. They all have opinions but every, single case is different. They aren't part of the acceptance committee. Talk to the people who are.

I interviewed the same week you did. I heard back on tuesday or wednesday of this week. Have you heard back yet?

Does anybody know how to increase my chances of getting off the waitlist??

Thanks for the help
