Waitlisted, but how should I answer this survey question regarding other acceptances?

I've been waitlisted by this 1 MD school and rejected by the rest; however, I'm accepted at another DO school. The waitlist survey for the MD school asks if you've been accepted by another school. Would it be better for me to answer that I have not been since technically no MD schools accepted me or should I say that I have been due to the DO school acceptance? What would be better for my chances of getting accepted?

It doesn't matter and they shouldn't ask. They will see if you have been accepted MD on April 1st.

So they wouldn't be able to see if I was accepted to D.O. schools?

I'm struggling with this because the waitlist school is my only shot at an M.D. school and I worry that if I were to put down that I've been accepted elsewhere my chances go getting in would be slimmer due to having a backup option....

Also, the question is mandatory in order to respond to the waitlist...

We do not communicate with the DO admissions system. You have to decide what the true answer is for you.
