Well, I just found out that I've been waitlisted by KCUMB. Does anyone have any helpful information about what that means for that particular school?

Good news! Apparently there was some mix up - I was accepted!

Oh, I don't have an email address yet. I just talked to a student from there today who gave me their email address and that was the format they gave me.

I'm not sure exactly how the mixup happened. I called in Tuesday morning to find out what my status was - and was told that I was on the waitlist. Then I got a letter in the mail the same day saying I had been accepted. (I was nearly doing cartwheels at that point) So I called and asked the same girl I talked to in the morning what the deal was. She said "That I had been on the waitlist but they decided to re-review my file and decided to accept me." So either she was just covering her butt over an earlier mistake, or someone miraculously interceded for me and got me in (but for some reason the computer database hadn't been updated?)

That sucks--kinda...but to think you weren't readily accepted and to find out you really were the same day? That is almost like winning the lottery! Congrats! So, do you think you'll be attending? Where do you live. You can pm me if you want.
