Hi Everyone,

I am currently on 5 waitlists, no acceptances.

#2 at Franklin Pierce
high priority at Western University
GWU
Midwestern
Touro

Does anyone know of people getting off waitlists this late in the game? I am so close to being accepted somewhere but so far no luck. It is driving me crazy.

Stats:
GPA 3.3
Pre rec 3.2
GRE 1290
4000 hours observation in 4 settings

I think your chances are still good!

Go to page 2. A DPT student was notified 72 hours before classes started when she was offered a spot. Don't get discouraged! Good luck!!

I think that your chances are still really good! I know some PT students that were notified 2 days before the program started that they were accepted. Also, about three weeks ago I was accepted to 3 programs that I was waitlisted for.

check this one out http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=863469&page=3 regarding Touro recent waitlist acceptance. hang in there, good luck. I'm #7 on NAU glad to have a seat at Touro NV. Never hurts at this point to call the schools on a weekly basis to see where you are, if all the accepted seats are paid up w/ their deposits and commitments.

I'm in a similar boat. Currently waitlisted at GWU and Pitt. I didn't know that schools waited that long to notify some students. Guess I still have some hope lol.

Midwestern in Glendale told me that they will pull from waitlist all the way up to the first day of class if they have spots.

Think of it this way - that's 5 waitlists more than other people in your situation. Good luck!

As far as the wait list for Pitt, the had a deadline back on Dec, if I remember correctly, bc I got in and declined their acceptance. So if you haven't heard from them by now, then I don't think you'll be hearing from them at all.
