After reading this forum for a while, I've finally decided to post as I'm becoming more and more anxious about this whole process!

I've only heard from 3 programs, in which I've been wait listed for 2. Has anyone had any luck with wait lists? Neither program ranks their wait lists

Here's my stats:

University: UCF
Major: Health Sciences
GPA: 3.75
Pre-Req GPA: 3.56
GRE: Q: 156 V:152 AW:4.5
Obs Hours: 150 from several different settings

Applied: Belmont, BU, Duke, GW, UF, Miami, Ohio State, UNC-Chapel Hill, Pitt, MGH
Interviews: Belmont, Miami
Acceptances: N/A
Wait- Lists: Belmont, Pitt
Rejections: N/A

Any input?!

A friend of mine got waitlisted last year and eventually got accepted. It was just a waiting game that killed him. I'm on the same boat as you. Hopefully we both get in.

BU for bellarmine? Not sure about the waitlist issue but your numbers are solid, you should get in somewhere.

I have heard of many people getting in on the waitlist. It is definitely a step forward and a good shot at an acceptance.

Thanks for the replies.

Duke was my original first choice. Anybody out there know if they're still doing interviews or if I have any chance at all at that program?

waiting list = acceptance. You just have to wait it out which is the hardest part. Congrats! better than got rejected! 🙂 I got wait listed too for my first choice of University. I will wait it out. Can't wait to start eventually.. 🙂 Good luck on the other applications...

I was wait listed to my top choice at Rockhurst University. I have been told that people have been called off the list as late as just before classes start. Best of luck on the waiting game!:xf:

Aww being waitlisted is the worst!! Lol but be hopeful last year a friend got called for an acceptance after being waitlisted for 6 months! Hang in there! Best of luck 🙂

UF had a student last year that was on the wait list and got accepted the day before classes start! I know its painful but I think your chances are probably good being on the list for 2 schools.

I don't agree with this. I was never accepted at three schools that waitlisted me. Waitlisted is better than rejected, but it doesn't guarantee that you'll eventually be accepted.
