Waiving right to see letter of rec being mailed?

This might be a dumb question, but how do we show we waived the right to see a letter of recommendation that is going to be mailed? (Instead of through an online letter service)

Most letter writers will include a statement that the person they're writing about has waived that right in the actual letter.

Is there nothing that can be done then if the letter is already written and sent to AAMC?
