Question 11 states: In which service activity that you listed on the AMCAS application do you feel made the most impact on someone else?

And then:

Which service activity had the most impact on you?

Now, can I use my work-study position for this question, or does it HAVE to be a volunteer activity? It so happens that one of my paid positions has had more of an impact than my volunteer work...

I don't see why not. It says "service activity" and not volunteer. Just because you got paid, doesn't diminish your experience. I mean, doctors get paid pretty darn well for their work!

Thanks xanthines, that's a good point, and also what I was hoping to hear. Northwestern and Hopkins ask the same question and I wrote a pretty good answer, so I think I'll use that at least for the second part.
