i know some1 there now..i can ask him if u like. but don't they have that info on their website? 😕

I think this is probably temporary. I remember seeing quite a bit about their curriculum and the Phase I-IV thing a few weeks back.

Maybe tomorrow????

Yeah I think they're just redoing their website. They used to have an extensive demonstration showing what their curriculum was like and talking about it and stuff. It will probably be back up in the next couple of days.

Do you have any specific questions about the curriculum that I can try to help you answer? I'm currently a student there.

I received an interesting 🙄 email from Wake yesterday. It said "Currently, your completed application has been reviewed and placed in an interview pool. It is however not the pool from which we are inviting. Your status could change and then again it might not. You may check with us after the first of the year to see if there has been a change. Good luck in the admissions process." :scared:

I had already received notice that they had received my secondary. So, it looks as though I must be fairly low 👎 on their applicant/interview line up pool if I shouldn't worry about interviewing until after the first of the year. At least I made it through the first couple of "cut-off" rounds and I'm still hanging in the balance. 👍

Wow, they are really stringing you along. I just applied there and got an e-mail saying that they received my app, so I'm just waiting to see if I get a secondary. Good luck.

The email is worded badly...first it states you are in an interview pool and then it states you are in the pool that may or may not be interviewed. why doesnt it just say you are on the waitlist for an interview. stupid.

anyways just sent in my wake-forest secondary....im wishing for an interview....the school looks great and i love the clinical opptys!

Got the same email today.

Does this mean they screen the primary apps and don't send the secondary out to everyone?

Yes, they screen. Many people get rejected pre-sec. From what I understand it is a relatively difficult screen.

they only send secondaries to half of the applicants. it looks like they review your entire application before sending you a secondary because some people with higher numbers than me and people i know ended up getting rejected pre-secondary.

I just got an email from Wake telling me they're waiting for my fall scores. So we'll see about the secondary and the interview!! I hope they want me.....😛

there were so many wake threads floating around that i didn't want to start another one, especially with such a silly question...

for the secondary questions (which service activity do you feel you made the most impact on someone and which service activity had the most impact on you), is it ok to talk about the same service activity in both of them? i devoted so much time to volunteering at one thing that i didn't have much time for other community service activities. i was originally gonna talk about being a varsity swimmer for the activity that had the most impact on me but then i realized they asked for a service activity and sports don't exactly qualify...

edit: oh yeah and one more thing--how long were your essays? i don't see a limit anywhere. am i mistaken?

I tried to keep the essays short and to the point. I think they appreciate that. Brevity with a punch. 😎
