For anyone that has applied to Walgreens and has interviewed with the DM, what was the turnaround time before you heard back about the status of your application. I've completed Step 1 and Step 2 and I interviewed with the DM last week on Monday and followed-up with a thank you e-mail Tuesday. He responded that night saying that I should hear from them "very soon". Overall, I think I had a great interview with the DM. However, it's been a little over a week and I haven't heard back yet. I checked my application and now, a new Step 3 has popped up. I've tried completing it but it keeps saying, "Your offer decision is pending with respective store manager. Please contact your respective store manager."

I've been hearing that Step 3 is basically the offer but I wasn't sure if that was true or not. Would it be inappropriate to e-mail the DM about the status of my application now?

I'd wait a couple more days, a week isn't that long but definitely before 2 weeks. What state/district did you apply to?

I'm in the middle of the hiring process (actually already hired) and their online application process is very finicky to say the least. Their offer letters take a while to get generated and sent out. Kind of funny story, but I was hired in February by one district and I got a one month delayed email from another district in March wanting to interview me. Their process seems pretty slow.

I applied to a bunch of southern ohio districts but never heard back... Why not just reject me and send me an email... Now I switched all my locations to Virginia so who knows if I'll hear back. The website doesn't even let me update my CV. Was your interview nothing but situation based questions? I hate those, but was told that's all Walgreens uses nowadays.

Yeah! I wasn't expecting a situation-based interview similar to Target but thankfully, I've had a few Target interviews so I was kinda prepared.

Step 3 is job acceptance and it will have the information associated with the actual hiring.
