I have an interview with a Walmart district manager coming up. Can anyone help me with the type of questions I can expect. This is my first interview since graduating and I'm nervous. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No first hand experience but my guess would be a series of behavioral questions. do a google search and you will see what times of dumb questions they may ask. good Luck

Not really looking for opinions on whether I should or should not work for Walmart. Instead, I am seeking help on the types of questions I may be asked on my scheduled interview. Thanks for responding though.

I had a phone interview and then an in-person interview. For the phone interview, they had some generic questions that I believe they ask everybody. I cannot remember all of the questions, but here are a few that I do remember:
1. Why pharmacy?
2. Why retail?
3. Why Walmart?
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
6. What are your strengths?
7. What is one thing that your current employer would want you to work on?
8. What are 3 things that you look for in a work place?

That is all the questions I can remember.

As for the in-person interview, it's more about you interviewing them about the company and the position. I really did not like my interviewers.

I was told this is a good place to point out that you desire/expect to grow within the company, I have never heard anything about mentioning your family plans here. I was asked this at an interview and my reply was: "I hope to be a practising pharmacist by that point." My interviewer chuckled and explained what he was looking for in that question. I wouldn't include any plans about anything except the job for which you are interviewing. Just my 2 cents.

I am applying to be a pharmacy intern -- more specifically for Wal-Mart's summer internship program. I just had my phone interview a little while ago, and their questions are pretty fair. They just want to gauge the kind of person you are to make sure you really are Walmart is looking for.

What are your top three choices for pharmacy? Clinical, nuclear, retail, etc…?

A lot of candidates apply for this position, why should we hire you?

Why Walmart?

Stuff of that nature.
