i'd prob recommend taking off touro too...

I feel like for schools like these, there need to be something that stands out in the application. I am low-key concerned that my application looks like checking off the boxes.
you'll be competitive at all the top level schools, you never know exactly what they will be looking for or how they will perceive your app...

OP: Call your shot. Look at the cost of attendance. If you're that stellar of an applicant figure out how much debt you are willing to assume to go to each school. That's one reason why we suggest taking off the most expensive COA's. Don't apply because they may offer scholarships; sure, you probably would get a scholarship from NYU, but that's no guarantee. Calculate your number to make you deposit at each school now. Get your 5-7K ready if you anticipate a deposit at NYU.

Do you think you would thrive in a three-year program like Pacific or Roseman? Do you want a combined curriculum experience with medical students (so you could gun for OMFS) like the Ivies or UConn? Do you want pass/fail or graded curricula? Clinic policies (how do you "share patients") and technology (how do you get patients to graduate)?

My thoughts: remove your Big 10 schools: Michigan and Maryland. Rutgers may yield protect if they know you're a New Yorker with those stats.

However, your intuition is right: you must communicate why you would be a great member of their incoming class and learning community. We're only running off your WAMC profile and not your AADSAS application plus letters, and you will do interviews later (including NYU's Kira Talent assessment: NYU College of Dentistry Class of 2029 Interview/Acceptance Thread). They'll probably pick you for your numbers but you need to close the deal.

Only concern I have about three-year program like Pacific or Roseman is their locations. I do not want to be far away from NY, especially because I want to stay at NY/MA in the future when I graduate. I don't have opinion against combined curriculum with med students and pass/fail or letter grades.

What are some pros/cons about shared patients?

Why would you suggest removing UMich? too competitive?

UMich isn't New York.

I'll let you weigh pros/cons and why some schools run clinics the way they do. If you have to do all the phone calls and follow-up or does someone else get to do it.
