What does your 100 hours of non clinical volunteering involve? Which URM community are you from? If you are Hispanic, are you fluent in Spanish?
50hrs of weekly volunteering doing memory puzzles and activities with people in memory care for one school year and then 50hrs and counting doing various grocery delivery and soup kitchen activities at an organization near me. I started doing this because of a newfound interest in food security and nutrition. I’m an AA woman and an immigrant, I don’t speak Spanish.

Accumulate another 50 hours at the soup kitchen before you submit your application since some schools screen at 150 hours for non clinical volunteering. I suggest these schools with your stats:
West Virginia
Marshall
U Maryland
Howard
Meharry
Morehouse
Charles Drew
Georgetown
George Washington
Miami
Emory
Tulane
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Jefferson
Temple
Drexel
Pittsburgh
Ohio State
Cincinnati
Hofstra
Einstein (free tuition)
Mount Sinai
New York Medical College
Vermont
Dartmouth
Brown
Tufts
Boston University
Northwestern
Rosalind Franklin
St. Louis
